The next phase is about IA (Information Architecture), and content; we’ll dissect your website and its content, in order to understand if everything is optimised to work the right way.
After a quantitative and qualitative analysis, we’ll come up with a site map, a plan for user-friendly features, ideas and gimmicks for a smooth navigation and a scheme that will help us give the project the right design.
Search Engine Optimization, sitemaps, friendly URLs, meta descriptions, landing pages, and content hierarchy are key to create a website that is both user and Googlefriendly.
It is now time for some UX sketches, which will help us create a wireframe.
The design system will be visible by now, and it will be possible to define an idea of the functionality.
Content is paramount, and it should always work the proper way – regardless of design and architectural plans. For this reason, we will provide a set of page tables for key content pages. With this, we will be able to define a hierarchy of contents, to be applied to every area of the website.
We will also create static HTML templates - in black and white - to demonstrate how the web design works in a browser. If it is a responsive website it will highlight breakpoints of the responsive design.
Whilst the wireframe shows the cold perfection of functionality, the visual design phase is all about style: the branding elements, colour palettes, and typography that will make your website look unique. Together, we will take all the important decisions, from fonts line of dominance to interface details. Static visual mockups will be created to make things look clearer.
A Canvas, i.e. an HTML page where ALL possible styles - headings, sub-headings, paragraphs, links, buttons, tables, etc. – are included, will be created at this point.

The theme will adhere to best practices.
We will use a Content Management System to support the technical architecture of the website. We’ll develop all of the site’s elements and configure the eCommerce components. We’ll then integrate the HTML templates into the CMS platform. By the time we’re done, everything will be looking good and working great!
In order to replicate the same user experience and vibe everywhere, we will make sure all page templates will render in all the most important web browsers and devices, from Apple products to Blackberry and Android systems.
We will also provide support and training for content creators during content migration; content is key, and must be kept alive and sparkling at all times. Remember: content is King, content is Queen as well, and content never sleeps.
Almost there! User Acceptance Testing (UAT) will help us understand if everything is in its right place, and the requirements we defined at the beginning have been met. Moreover, we will provide support – e.g. in case of bugs and other troubles – and training, making sure you perfectly understand and know how to use your CMS and website.
Next step, the launch plan: once we are positive that all the objects were met, we will make the website go live, making sure it is submitted to the right search engines. Moreover: are the web analytics installed and configured? Good. Are you able to understand and decipher the insights, from access to analytics reports? Great.
