A sensory site design for an iconic spa
Sanctuary started life in Covent Garden, as a treatment space for women to relax and pamper themselves. Their products are sold globally and loved for their power to nourish, replenish and rejuvenate.
As well as the treatment itself, the Sanctuary spa experience was about the huge luxe sofas, the majestic koi carp, the calming atrium pool. This website that we created needed to be something sensory. Beginning with themes like sounds, colours and indulgent textures, we started work on the aesthetic and the feel of the site.
We wanted to design a website that could mirror the magic of the space. We combined beautiful imagery with powerful eCommerce features to create a distinctive digital experience.
The Sanctuary spa is about making women feel great, so highly usable product pages were essential here. Easy and secure shopping experiences for all-round wellbeing.
